EFSCRJ Election Watch: Publish the Coalition Agreements!

Four political coalitions have emerged ahead of the December 2026 Presidential Election, yet the signed coalition agreements/MOUs have not been made public. This is a matter of public interest. Political parties seek the mandate of citizens and must therefore be transparent about the commitments they make, particularly on candidates, power-sharing, policies and governance.

EFSCRJ calls on all coalition leaders to publish their signed agreements immediately. We urge the IEC, IPC, media, civil society and citizens to demand transparency. Gambians have a right to know what political parties are agreeing to before they ask for our votes.
