EFSRCJ – 2026 WASSCE Results Expose a National Education Emergency

The 2026 WASSCE results expose a national education emergency: only 7.13% of candidates obtained five credits, including English and Mathematics, while 7,212 obtained no credit in any subject. EFSCRJ calls on the Government to urgently establish a National Education Rescue Program to address the crisis in teaching quality, literacy, numeracy, school performance and accountability. Every year of inaction condemns another generation to schooling without meaningful learning. The time to rescue our education system is now.
