EFSCRJ Releases Human Rights Incident Report: January – June 2026

EFSCRJ HUMAN RIGHTS REPORT: JANUARY–JUNE 2026

EFSCRJ has released its Human Rights Situation Report documenting 17 incidents involving alleged arbitrary arrests, police brutality, restrictions on peaceful assembly, child abuse, rape, violent deaths, road crashes, fires, unsafe migration and unexplained death.

At least nine incidents involved death, serious injury or grave threats to life and physical integrity. The report highlights persistent weaknesses in prevention, victim protection, investigation, transparency and institutional accountability.

EFSCRJ calls on the Government, Police, NHRC, Social Welfare and other responsible institutions to investigate these incidents promptly, protect victims, respect peaceful assembly, provide effective remedies and hold perpetrators, including state officials, accountable.

Human rights are not privileges. Accountability is not optional. Justice must be delivered.
