Investigations Must Lead to Accountability

EFSCRJ calls on the Government to update Gambians on investigations into the deaths of Omar Badgie and Ebrima Gassama, allegations against former CDS Mamat Cham, the sale of Jammeh’s assets, the Local Government Commission of Inquiry and the missing Kamalo land files.

Citizens have a right to know what was established, who was responsible and what action was taken. Investigations must not be used to manage public outrage until attention fades.

Publish the reports. Prosecute wrongdoing. End impunity.
